| Gleipne (2008) |
| A commission for Rye Kindergarten, Trondheim. 2 wall drawings with sculptural elements. Pencil and lack on acrylic paint, 5,25 m long 3-4 m high. The project is based on a story from Norse mythology, how the fetter Gleipne was constructed from six mythical ingredients; noise from cats footfall, the beards of woman, birds spit, breath from fishes, the roots of the mountain and the sinews of bears. The fetter was smooth and soft as a silken ribbon, yet strong and firm. The fetter is binding the monstrous Fenris Wolf and therefor keeping the world from going under. |
